CALL'S 2ND ASSIGNMENT (LESSON PLAN)

Hi everyone, we meet again here. So for our 2nd assignment, we were assigned to design a Lesson Plan that require us to integrate the use of Web 2.0 in the teaching and learning process. Here is mine, feel free to take a look.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:	By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to: 4.1.4 Express opinions and common feelings such as happiness, sadness, surprise, and interest by writing 3 things on what they can do as a hero for the environment. 2.4.1 Communicate opinions or feelings about a story, event or experience by list out 3 things on what they shouldn’t do as a hero for the environment.
ACTIVITIES:	Set Induction (10 minutes): 1. Teacher shows students videos on YouTube. Video 1 : Superheroes https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ZfuNTqbHE8 Video 2 : Environment https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WfGMYdalClU 2. Teacher ask students some questions and write the answers on the board. “What can you see in the videos?” “How do you feel when you see the videos?”  “Now students, what do you think that we are planning to do today?’ 3.. Teacher tell student what is the lesson of the day. “Today we are going to be a hero to save our environment.” Development (5 minutes): (Instruction part) 1. Teacher tells students about today’s lesson. “Today, we are going to be a superhero to save our environment.” Teacher also shows her video first so that students will be able to have the idea on how to create the video.  2. Teacher gives instruction. “what I want you to do is to be in a group of 3 or 4 person and login to https://www.powtoon.com/ 3. “using the websites, explain the superpower that you have in order to save the environment. At least 3 things. You should also be able to include what you shouldn’t do as a hero for the environment.” 4. Teacher gives out instruction to students. “you are given 25 minutes to create your superheroes using the website and after that, you will have to present your creation”  Development (25 minutes): (Activity part) 1. Teacher gives guidance and help along the way. Development (20 minutes): (Presentation part) 1.     Each group will be presenting their superheroes and their superpower on how to save the environment. 2.     Teacher gives feedback on each group presentation. Conclusion (5 minutes): 1. Teacher ask student what they had learn today. “Class, what we had learn today?” “Can you give me 3 examples things that we can do to save our environment?” (teacher choose students randomly) “Good job! So, this is the end of our lesson for today. Thank you class.”
